Each Wednesday evening during the NFL season, a new weekly piksheet is posted on the website.
During the regular season, players pick all 16 games each week. During the playoffs, players pick all playoff games, including the Super Bowl.
All picks are submitted using a computer or smart phone. Once submitted, picks are sent directly to the commissioner.
Thursday games are due by 8:15 PM ET or game time.
Sunday games are due by 1:00 PM ET.
Shortly after picks are due, all PFLPro player picks for that week are posted on the website before the first game or games.
Stats are updated after Thursday, Sunday, and Monday games. Rankings and side games can be found through the top or left navigation.
Filling out the piksheet only takes a minute or two. Some players submit within minutes of the weekly piksheet being posted. Others study all week and get their picks in just before the deadline.
Both systems have worked well — and both systems have failed miserably — depending on who you ask.
The PFLPro piksheet is broken into two main sections: the weekly 16 games and the side games.
For the weekly games, all 16 games must be picked. Each game is worth 1 point. The only other picks needed to complete the main section are your Lock and Upset picks.
A Lock pick can be either a favorite or an underdog. An Upset pick can only be an underdog team.
Total possible points in this section: 18 points.
Pick all 16 games each week during the regular season. Each correct pick is worth 1 point.
Located above the weekly games, the tiebreaker must be included to submit your piksheet.
The tiebreaker is only used for the Low Man Out side game and is based on the Monday Night Game.
Starting this season, your Lock and Upset picks count toward both the Season contests and the Weekly contests.
Season Locks and Season Upsets run through Week 20.
The weekly game section should total 18 possible points: 16 games, 1 Lock, and 1 Upset.
Pick one team each week. If that team covers, you advance to the next week. If that team loses, you are out.
There are 3 Survivor contests per season.
Pick one team each week and earn points based on how much that team wins by.
This is the only side game that is not played against the spread.
Important: you can only pick each team once per season.
Pick 5 games each week during the regular season.
