ONLY 22 STILL STANDING
Week 7 is in the books, and Survival Island is starting to feel a whole lot less crowded.
Another 12 entries were taken by the Island this week, cutting the field from 34 survivors down to just 22.
We started the season with 299 entries chasing the $5,000 Grand Prize. Seven weeks later,
277 of them are gone. Only 7.4% of the original field is still alive.
The most impressive group on the beach is now down to only 6 perfect entries at 7-0:
CBraven, Eat a W, Mack-Attack, nleastowners, No Bag Buko and Polska-2.
Seven straight wins against the spread. Seven straight weeks of avoiding the trap that has already
sent more than nine out of every ten entries home.
The other 16 survivors are carrying one loss, which means there is no safety net left.
One bad pick and their season on the Island is over. At this point there is nowhere to hide.
The field that once needed 299 names now fits comfortably on one screen, and every surviving player
can look around and see exactly who is still standing between them and $5,000.
Week 7 did not finish the contest, but the Island is getting very serious now.
277 are gone. 22 remain. Six are still perfect. One will eventually own the Island.
