Each Wednesday evening during the college season, a new piksheet is posted on the website.
PFLU picks 16 games each week from the top-ranked teams in the country.
Some games are played on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
All picks are submitted using a computer or smartphone.
The weekly deadline is Saturday at 12:00 (NOON) ET.
If there is a Thursday or Friday game, the picks for that game are due at kickoff.
Shortly after all picks are due, all PFLU player picks are posted on the website.
Stats update after Thursday, Friday, and Saturday games.
Filling out the piksheet only takes a minute or two. Some players submit within minutes of the piksheet being posted. Others study all week and get their picks in just before the deadline.
Both systems have worked well — and both systems have failed miserably — depending on who you ask.
The piksheet entry form is broken into two sections: the weekly 16 games and the side games.
All 16 games must be picked. Each game is worth 1 point.
The only other picks needed to complete the weekly section are your Lock and Upset picks. The total number of points in this section should be 18 points.
A Lock pick can be a favorite or underdog. An Upset pick can only be an underdog team.
Pick 1 team each week. If that team covers, you advance.
If you lose, you are out of that Survivor contest but can participate in the next Survivor.
Pick 1 team each week and earn points based on how much that team wins by.
MOV is the only PFLU game not played against the spread.
These are separate from the weekly Lock and Upset picks.
You can use the same picks, but you do not have to.
Season Locks and Season Upsets run through Week 16.
Each week, pick 5 games during the regular season.
